Antonietta Collins
Antonietta Toni Collins is an Mexican American Sportscaster. She anchors SportsNation as well as a SportsCenter anchor. Her first assignment with ESPN in the year 2016. She is the daughter of the TV journalist Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta has been bilingual since age nine. Her ability was crucial in helping her land her first post as a production assistant for Univision Miami in which she worked with the producers of shows like Nuestra Belleza Latina and Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud. She was hired as a reporter for The CBS St. Petersburg affiliate following that. In 2009, she relocated into Rio Grande Valley to work as a reporter for KNVO TV 48 Univision & Fox2 News. Covering stories related to the trafficking of drugs and immigration across the border of Mexico and Texas. border, she was a news reporter for KNVO TV 48, the Spanish channel KNVO TV 48 at 5 pm, an anchor for the news channel in English for 9 pm, after which she became a news anchor until 10pm before returning on KNVO TV 48, the Spanish channel. Antonietta Collins' grandparents were originally from Veracruz Mexico. Then, they moved to Mexico City and she was born on the 22nd of November the 22nd of November, 1985. She has an elder sister. The family moved to Miami after moving to Mexico in the US. After a short time, her father separated from her mother and she then remarried in 1995 a naval architect whose name was Fabio Fajardo. Fabio Fajardo passed away from kidney cancer in the year 2006. The couple stayed with her family in Canton Ohio with her older sister over the summer, where she had been given an opportunity to work. At the time of her senior year at high school, but having a clear vision of about what she wanted to pursue for her life, Antonietta went to the University of Mount Union to examine if it was a good fit for her requirements. The result was that she liked the campus and that the school provided the degree she was looking for. After completing her high school education, she attended the university to study media studies.
